Final month, Atlanta band Lunar Trip introduced their debut full-length, Inside Each Fig Is A Useless Wasp, which comes on the heels of some promising EPs that stretch again a number of years. We’ve heard “Shrug” and “Mould” from it already, and as we speak the band is sharing the shimmery “Gears.” Bandleader Grace Repasky had this to say in regards to the monitor:
After I look again on any sort of relationship, it’s normally by means of rose-colored glasses. I suppose this music tells me that though this occurred, you simply gotta hold going as a result of this isn’t the tip of the world. However the final strains are a mirrored image of how inner-me feels… I’ll in all probability all the time be a bit of unhappy in regards to the loss. I really feel like most, if not all, of my songs are future-me giving past-me recommendation and perception on particular conditions that evoked heavy emotions.
Test it out beneath.
