Having left quite the impression on the NBA upon its black and red debut, the Air Jordan 1 is certainly no stranger to a bold colorway. And yet few — save for its collaborations — are quite as loud as the upcoming “Visionaire,” which applies “Volt” throughout much of the silhouette’s upper.
The “Visionaire” replicates the color blocking of the “Chicago,” replacing “Varsity Red” with the above-mentioned neon. And the color itself is not all that’s unique, as the leather overlays proffer a texture that’s ever-so-slightly cracked throughout. Adjacent, the blacks along the collar and the whites of the base follow suit, contrasting the comparatively standard Swoosh, tongue, lace unit, and midsole.
