Union, located in the centre of the Grenadines, is situated south of Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, and Mayreau, in close proximity to Palm Island, the Tobago Keys, and Petit St Vincent, and with Carriacou and Grenada to the south.

International flights to Barbados, St Vincent, St Lucia, and Grenada can be linked to inter-island connecting flights to Union Island, which is also served by inter-island ferries from St Vincent to Mayreau or Canouan before aclling at Union Island, or from Grenada to Carriacou then by water taxi to Union Island.
