The Ocean Terrace Inn is situated on the historic Fortlands of St. Kitts overlooking St Kitts capital, Basseterre, and the harbour. The hotel is ideally located on the scenic south-eastern peninsula with its beautiful beaches, natural harbours and salt ponds and approximately 1/4 mile from Basseterre, 2 miles from the airport and 1/4 mile from the cruise port.
The hotel has 71 elegantly appointed air-conditioned guest rooms, apartments, junior suites and full suites, all with dramatic views of the Caribbean Sea, Basseterre Bay or lush gentle mountain slopes from their own private balcony or patio, and with private bathroom, remote control Cable Color TV, alarm clock radio, direct dial International telephone, fridge, data ports, coffee maker, and with ceiling fans and safes in Deluxe and Superior rooms only.
The Waterfalls Restaurant, located on an impressive air-conditioned patio overlooking beautiful Basseterre Bay and the Caribbean Sea, offers a modern interpretation of classic Continental and West Indian cuisine while utilizing the colors and flavours of local ingredients. The Ocean Terrace Inn's famous seafood grill on the ocean's edge is a true Kittitian institution. For years people have been coming to the Wharf to watch Chefs prepare generous portions of lobster, fresh fish and steaks on an open charcoal grill as they wait.
The Terrace Bar is a meeting place to join friends or make new ones as you enjoy breathtaking views of sister island Nevis, Basseterre's harbour and the South-East peninsula.
The Fantasy Pool Bar and Grill is located in the beautifully landscaped gardens near the waterfall/lagoon rockery pool.
Surrounded by lush tropical gardens and meandering pathways, the fantasy pool follows the contours of the landscape and features islands, with exotic trees and flowers, cascading waterfalls and a natural rock design which creates an atmosphere of swimming in a natural lagoon. Three large pools and a Jacuzzi are provided for the enjoyment of our guests.
A complimentary shuttle service is offered to the white sandy beaches and aquamarine waters of the South Eastern peninsula and to Turtle Beach, the meeting spot for both tourists and locals alike.
A full range of water sports and horse back riding are also available together with deep sea fishing, PADI approved scuba diving, catamaran cruises, rain forest tours, Brimstone Hill Fortress and plantation house tours, volcano crater tours, and golf.
