Located on Cat Island, one of the Out Islands of the Bahamas, Fernandez Bay Village is on an incredibly beautiful half-moon bay with pristine white sands. This is one of those places where the barefoot life enhances the laid-back atmosphere where you dine under a thatch roof, and watch the sun set over the miles of beach of the Atlantic Ocean.

The Village has 10 enchanting stone and tile villas dotted along the private beach at Fernandez Bay Village. Fernandez Bay Village may be small, but it has plenty of room for those looking to get away or celebrate a special occasion. The cottages offer single units for two people and six beachfront homes that have either one or two bedrooms with two baths, a kitchen and living room. Two of the cottages have thatch roofs. Some of the cottages have garden baths, while one of the beach front houses has an enclosed bathroom. All cottages and houses are air conditioned, include refrigerators, coffeemakers. There is daily maid service.

While villas and houses don’t have TV, phones or Internet access, all are provided at the club house, if needed.

The houses are designed for families, and the beach provides a safe environment for children to play in the calm waters of Fernandez Bay. Babysitting services are available, too. Hammocks, canoes, kayaks, seaside dining, thatched roof tiki bar, fishing, snorkeing, scuba diving, boats, bicycles, and just star gazing -- all to partake at this great resort.

Fernandez Bay is a unique bay with dramatic views from every angle. It has a mile of secluded white sand, lush vegetation with Casurina and Coconut trees, and of course, the kind of clear water only found in the Out Islands of the Bahamas. Looking out to the west you see three small keys, two rocky points at either end of the sand beach and clear water with white sand bottom as far as you can see.
