Situated just 48 miles off the coast of South Florida on the quaint Bahamian island of North Bimini lies the Bimini Bay Resort & Marina.

The resort features 96 luxury vacation properties comprised of condominiums, loft-like treehouses and single family homes as well as facilities include a full-service marina, infinity pool, grille, Swedish and Thai massage services, children's playground and a fine dining restaurant overlooking the ocean.

The tree house townhomes include one or three bedrooms with kitchens, balconies or porches and have views of either the ocean or the bay. There’s also a washer and dryer in each townhome. One-bedroom studios come with two double beds or one queen bed; two-bedroom units come with one queen bed and two twin beds or bunk beds; three-bedroom units have a queen bed and two twin beds. The décor of each unit varies, and some are individually owned and fully furnished. All rooms are air-conditioned with TVs, phones, ironing boards and iron, coffee maker, refrigerator, kitchen or kitchenette and a balcony.

There are two restaurants onsite, including Aquagrille, located at the infinity pool, where lunch and dinner is served, and the full bar is open daily. Specialties are conch fritters and daiquiris. Casa Lyon is Mediterranean in design and is headed by Bahamas Culinary Association President Chef Wayde Sweeting. He provides Caribbean infusion cuisine and offers a variety of menu options that are sure to spark an appetite. Casa Lyon is open daily for breakfast and dinner and offers lovely outdoor seating on its large deck that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.

In 2008, Fisherman’s Village opened with a quaint plaza area featuring a bay front, two-story Marina Restaurant, coffee bar, ice cream parlour, liquor store and cigar shop. Shopping enthusiasts will enjoy jewelry and watch retailers and a boutique, offering a blend of casual beachwear and island-inspired fashions. Additionally, Fisherman’s Village will be home to all of the necessities for resort living that include a food mart, fuel and a bait & tackle shop.

Bimini's abundance of white sand beches and crystal clear waters continues to attract yachting and watersport enthusiasts searching for a relaxing haven that offers something for the whole family. Temperatures range from the low to mid-70s during the winter and low to mid-80s during the summer months.
