Caribbean Hotel holiday in Barbados

On a recent Caribbean holiday to Barbados, I found being stuck in a traffic jam a whole new experience.  I glance across the road and lock gazes with a grizzled, grey- bearded Rastafarian with bare feet that look like two well-done steaks.  then I find myself being offered drugs while I sit in my hire car,The Bajan dialect uses words in a expressive, fast paced manner that can be a bit tricky to follow at times., spotting my sunburned face he motions the act of smoking. I ignore him and stare ahead sweat now starts to drip from my head, my hands grip the wheel so tight my knuckles are white. Two Britons were arrested yesterday at the airport here for trying to board their plane with dope in their luggage. I smile to myself thinking that they probably bought it from this guy. I smile and shake my head. he flaps his arms good-naturedly; I shift in my seat he stares away blankly, already looking for another customer in the traffic jam behind me. It's very difficult to explain how even this makes your visit to paradise; you just have to experience it for yourself to begin to understand.
