Tobago, picture postcard pretty and warm and sunny with fresh trade breezes, is just 28 miles long by 7 miles wide with a population of 50,000.

Despite it's size, the island is renowned for it's beautiful white sand beaches and it is not difficult to find a beach to yourself on Tobago.

The waters of Tobago are crystal clear and teeming with life. Whether you want to just relax and enjoy the view, or get physical with some fishing or sports action, Tobago’s offshore fishing season starts in October and runs right through till June, and the Tobago International Game Fishing Tournament is held each year in March from the beautiful fishing village of Charlotteville, Tobago has some of the Caribbean's most productive big game fishing grounds. Coastal fishing is all year round and is excellent.

May each year sees Tobago hosting the Angostura Tobago Sail Week, a fun yachting regatta. You don’t have to be a serious sailor, you can be a complete novice, you don’t have to own your own yacht, you can charter one. A week of racing in the fabulous waters off Tobago is combined with a non-stop itinerary of parties, live bands, and games, culminating with a huge prize giving and show stopping shore party at the end of the week.Yachties from the United Kingdom, France, Germany, South Africa and even Australia turn out in their numbers for a chance to race in the glorious Caribbean waters.
