Extreme  roller coaster rides, GWAZI the largest duelling wooden coaster in the south east – the two separate trains go head on at least 6 times with a combined speed of 100 mph, TANGANYIKA TIDALWAVE, where the spectators get wetter than the participants., and LAND OF THE DRAGONS for the kid friendly rides. Other Rides include SHEIKRA^® takes you 200 feet up, then hurtles you 90 degrees straight down at speeds of up to 70 mph!, CHEEETAH CHASE^®, with it’s crazy curves and hairpin turns, and Montu^®, one of the tallest and longest inverted roller coasters in the world! , And then there is Kumba, Python, Scorpion, Stanley Falls, and MONTU^®, one of the tallest and longest inverted roller coasters in the world!

When you’re feet are firmly back on the ground, take a self-guided tour around one of our beautiful animal habitats. Jungala, opening in Spring 2008, gives you the chance to come face-to-face with some of the world’s most endangered animals, white tigers and orangutans, along with two signature rides, including a zip line experience and a 3-storey family climbing area, this is not to be missed! Take your time as you take a walk through Myombe Reserve^®, where you’ll see majestic gorillas and playful chimpanzees in their lush, rainforest habitat.

Busch Gardens also offers shows - KaTonga takes you on a journey to the heart of Africa in a 35-minute musical celebration of animal folklore. The show follows a day in the lives of aspiring storytellers, called Griots, as they strive to become masters of their craft. To accomplish this rite of passage, the performers evoke traditional African stories that mesmerize and entertain! Masterful puppet design, magical folklore, energetic original music and spectacular African-inspired dance combine to create the first theme park show of Broadway-production calibre.
